Ingredients:
A handful of marigold leaves.

Preparation:
Just crush the leaves into a moist pulp and apply directly on acne.

Acne Recipe #2

Ingredients:
1 teaspoon powdered alum.
1 teaspoon lime juice.
2 tablespoons witch hazel.
4 medium-sized grated cucumbers.
4 egg whites.
1 cube camphor B.P.
10 drops peppermint oil.

Preparation:
Whip the egg whites till they are stiff. Crush the camphor cube. Add the grated cucumbers and the crushed camphor to the egg whites.

Mix well and then add the rest of the ingredients. Apply the cream directly on the acne and leave on for 20-30 minutes. Store the excess cream in a glass jar.

Homemade Hand Lotion Recipe

Ingredients:
1/4 pound oatmeal.
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice.
1/2 quart warm water.
1/2 teaspoon diluted ammonia.
1/2 teaspoon olive oil.
1/2 teaspoon rose water.
1/2 teaspoon glycerin.


Preparation:
Leave the oatmeal to soak in warm water overnight. Strain. Then add the other ingredients.

Use on your hands as often as you please.

Store excess in a glass bottle.

Homemade Cleansing Cream Recipe

Ingredients:

5 tablespoons almond oil.
10 grams white wax.
20 grams lanolin.
1 tablespoon rose water.
2-3 drops of your favorite flower essence.

Preparation:

Melt the white wax and lanolin over indirect heat. Slowly add the rose water and almond oil, stirring as you add.

Remove from heat and allow to cool. Add the flower essence. Store in glass jar.

To cleanse your face, massage it well before wiping off with face tissue or cotton wool.
