Shawn Johnson captured the hearts of Americans all over the United States as she competed and won in the gymnast section of the 2008 Olympics. At only a mere 17 years old Shawn has become America’s little sweetheart. Shawn likes to wear her hair color light and her hair is typically long. During her Olympic competitions she wore her hair up. She generally wore it in a tight bun or sometimes a ponytail. Though her bun was so simple, mixed with her uniform and the makeup that they wear during their performances she looked amazing. As small as she is she garnered attention with her friendly smile, adorable face and determination to win spirit.

Shawn still attends high school and in many ways she is like a normal teenage student. Due to all of the practicing and appearances that she makes she wears a lot of ponytails. Her hair is cut in choppy layers so she is a big fan of having her side swept bangs and then pairing it with a simply pin up with hair down in the back. Shawn is also a fan of incorporating braids into her hair and she often can be spotted with a single braid across the front of her hair. Not only is this an innovative style but it is also very age appropriate for her. For special events Shawn wears her hair long and curvy and shows a little of her grown up style. Besides competition time Shawn wears very light makeup.
